This is a rare opportunity for a talented people leader to take charge of our thriving Papamoa shop, offering a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. This position is 5 days per week, with the flexibility to cover weekends for staff leave when needed.In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action! We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy setting, is physically fit, and loves a good challenge. A confident problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude is key, all while ensuring the shop runs smoothly and follows Waipuna Hospice policies and processes. Experience in retail, merchandising, and sales is a big plus!You'll lead a fantastic team of paid staff and volunteers, managing daily rosters and coordinating the crew. Plus, you'll be the go-to for any performance issues that come up, helping to create a supportive, high-energy workplace.The ability to build strong relationships with all kinds of people is essential, as you'll be working closely with a diverse group. As a leader, you'll need business savvy, influencing, and negotiation skills to keep things running like clockwork. We also expect you to support your team to achieve NCEA retail standards.Leading by example, you'll inspire your team with your strong work ethic, positive leadership, and passion for second-hand goods and sustainable consumerism.
