As a market leader, we are now seeking an experienced Shift Leader to oversee our Dispatch Centre in Mount Wellington. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role, guiding a dynamic team while ensuring the safety and security of our clients in a fast-paced, critical environment.About the Role: As the Shift Leader in our Dispatch Centre, you will be responsible for leading a team of operators and ensuring smooth and efficient operations during your shift. You will manage the dispatch of security alerts, oversee the team's response to incidents, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Your leadership will ensure high standards of service and professionalism are maintained, and that the team handles urgent and often sensitive situations effectively.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of Dispatch Centre Operators, ensuring shift coverage, performance standards, and service levels are maintainedDispatch jobs of varying priority and ensure timely, accurate responses to alarm events/alertsProvide guidance and support to team members, assisting with the investigation of delays or service failuresMonitor and manage team performance, ensuring adherence to company policies and service standardsPrepare and send comprehensive incident reports, ensuring accuracy and timelinessEnforce strict confidentiality protocols regarding sensitive data and client informationLiaise effectively with clients, offering professional, clear, and timely communicationLog all events accurately, ensuring transparency and clear communication with internal teamsAbout You: We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with leadership experience who can thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.You will have:Minimum of 12 months' experience in a customer service, monitoring, or dispatch centre environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a teamExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situationsExperience with CRM systems, phone systems, and monitoring interfacesA strong sense of ownership, with the ability to solve problems and resolve incidents effectivelyExcellent attention to detail, ensuring all data and reports are accurateA positive, professional, and friendly phone mannerAbility to manage confidential information and adhere to data privacy policiesWhat We Offer:Competitive Salary + Overtime Opportunities22:00 to 07:00. 5 on 2 off.Free Onsite Parking for your convenienceAccess to First Security's Perks Program, with discounts across a range of retailers, petrol, and groceriesOngoing Training & Development to support your career growthWelfare checks and a strong company culture focused on your health, safety, and well-beingFull access to EAP services, including confidential counseling and financial support for you and your familyWhy FIRST Security?
