Experienced SharePoint Trainer needed for a key digital workplace project. Deliver training & support a SharePoint migration in a large organisation. Develop and enhance training modules for M365 SharePoint.Support the rollout of SharePoint to frontline and regional staff.Contract role until June 2025, paying market rate + flexible working. About this role: We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Trainer to play a key role in a large-scale SharePoint migration and training initiative. The focus of this project is to enhance the organisation's digital workplace through effective use of Microsoft 365 tools. This contract role is integral to delivering comprehensive training and ensuring a smooth transition to SharePoint for teams across the organisation. What you'll be doing: As the SharePoint Trainer, your main responsibility will be delivering SharePoint training to a wide range of staff, including those in the National Office, regional offices, and frontline teams. You will work closely with internal teams to develop and refine training modules and provide continuous support for SharePoint-related queries. Additionally, part of your role will be to upskill internal trainers, ensuring they are equipped to continue the training programme and offer support after the initial rollout. Key day-to-day tasks include: Delivering both in-person and virtual SharePoint training sessions.Customising training content to suit different teams and user levels.Troubleshooting M365 SharePoint issues and addressing user questions.Supporting the development of new training materials and enhancing existing ones.Working with the change and communications team to align training with organisational goals.Assisting in the transition of training responsibilities to internal staff. What we're looking for Extensive experience (5+ years) as a SharePoint Trainer or Consultant, with a deep understanding of the platform's functionality and capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging mannerStrong M365 SharePoint expertise.Proven ability to deliver clear and effective training.Experience working with training modules and user support. Work Environment: Three days in the office, with up to two days working from home.Wellington-based, no full remote options available.
