Shared Services Manager

General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Christchurch based position; Two Year Fixed Term Contract Excellent responsibility and scope to really add value We are looking for a seasoned Shared Services Manager to lead our clients finance support team through an important period of change.
This pivotal role will focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial administration services, while guiding the team through evolving processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations – Accounts Payable/Receivable Lead and inspire a support team during a significant transformation, fostering a positive environment that promotes growth, collaboration, and customer-focused service.
Drive change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous improvement during a period of organizational and process change.
Develop and implement standardised financial processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and resilience in operations.
Collaborate with digital services teams to implement and integrate new finance-related software systems.
Continuously assess and enhance financial processes, controls, and systems to streamline operations.
Skills & Experience: Prior experience in a Shared Services or Financial Management position within a large organisation Strong experience in leading teams through periods of change, driving both cultural and operational shifts in a constructive and supportive manner.
Demonstrated ability in change management, particularly in implementing new systems, processes, and organizational improvements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software systems and ERP platforms.
