Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral is looking for a Sexual Health Physician to replace an upcoming retirement in the service.About our role and service:We are seeking a Sexual Health Physician to join our small but dedicated team who provide sexual health services. This part-time (0.7 FTE) position is based at Palmerston North Hospital and will provide services across the MidCentral district through satellite clinics.Our specialist services have a strong focus on providing quality care while building strong relationships with our colleagues in the secondary and primary care sectors. The role includes HIV management, genital dermatology, gender affirming care, and the option for procedural contraception. There may also be the opportunity for work in forensic sexual assault or other special interests that the successful candidate might bring with them.We can offer you a well-established sexual health service with an 'all-encompassing' scope of practice, supported by specialist nursing staff with extensive experience.
