One of Wellington's leading contractors is growing and looking for a Building Services Manager or Coordinator with a strong mechanical aptitude. The company have a variety of large projects across the city, built to a high standard, on time and to budget – this is a team with an outstanding reputation. The Role Working within the construction team, and alongside managers you will take responsibility for the delivery of services throughout every stage of the construction programme from pre-construction through to client training. So being a collaborative team player is a must. You'll have a keen eye for detail and be able to foresee potential issues and communicate effectively with trades and sub-contractors to seek a resolution. Ideally you will demonstrate strong construction knowledge and exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to be the go-to for consultants and contractors, whilst always having that eye for a quality product to ensure the programme is completed on time and within budget.
