About the role:
The ServiceNow Developer role is dedicated to managing, supporting, and improving the ServiceNow platform for the Department of Conservation. The core responsibility is to develop and optimise ServiceNow to ensure it aligns with the department's goals and enhances overall business performance.
In this role you will: Develop and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to needs. Customise ServiceNow modules and applications to enhance functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless integration and performance. Stay updated with ServiceNow best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. Skills and experience: Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a strong portfolio of successful implementations. Proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting, configuration, and integrations. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web technologies. Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services integrations. Solid understanding of ITIL processes and how they integrate with ServiceNow. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred: ServiceNow Certification (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist). Cross module exposure is highly preferable e.g., ITSM, CSM, PSDS and FSM.
