Specialist Ict Support Technician

Product Management & Development (Information & Communication Technology) Job description with details of the key tasks and responsibilities: Support and improve application for Japanese-style table grapes production through consulting with key stakeholders (CEO, General Manager, etc.)
on application specifications and system design.
Collect and analyse data on grape growth, weather, and irrigation using sensors from New Zealand and Japan.
Develop, test, update, and maintain the applications and system based on feedback and evolving needs.
Provide training and support for employees on using the application and our systems.
Analyse correlations between cultivation operations, growth conditions, and sensor data.
Lead production management by integrating various data points.
Assist in the development of new systems, including their troubleshooting.
Use the application to plan and manage Japanese-style table grape production.
Advise and guide on optimization of all systems.
Research and introduce new software to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Support employees in adapting existing programs for better work optimization.
Minimum guaranteed 47.5 hours per week.
Job pre-requisites: At least three years of relevant experience as an ICT support technician or similar, preferably in the horticulture industry, especially in grape growing.
Have a solutions-based approach with a can-do attitude.
Be fluent in Japanese and have knowledge of Japanese-style table grape production.
Be a NZ Citizen, resident, or have a valid NZ Work Visa.
