This exciting role will be based working at the Queenstown airport workshop alongside another experienced technician, learning and maintaining airport plant and equipment for Air New Zealand.The role also requires the ability to travel surrounding areas of Southern Lakes District & Central Otago field servicing and maintaining Material Handling and Construction equipment when required. This requires you to have a high level of initiative, problem-solving skills, the ability to work alone, and a passion to learn.What you will need to succeed:A police check will be asked for airport airside purposes.Preferable endorsements F, W, T, R but not essential.Great customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain a rapport.A positive 'can-do' attitude with a proven record that you work well in a team.Willingness to learn new plant and equipment.About your new company:Originally established in Christchurch as Andrews & Beaven in 1878, AB Equipment boasts New Zealand world-class Material Handling, Construction and Forestry Equipment brands.
