Service Technician - Farm and Construction Equipment An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Service Technician position in the greater Newcastle region. This role entails providing top-notch servicing and repairs to tractors, machinery, and hay making equipment, both in the workshop and in-field. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. Join our client as a Service Technician, tasked with delivering servicing and repairs to tractors, machinery, and hay making equipment. This role encompasses effective diagnostic procedures, pre-delivery inspections, servicing, major repairs, and light fabrication/welding duties. Additionally, the incumbent will support the Service Coordinator and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities will include: Conducting test operations and utilizing efficient diagnostic procedures. Performing pre-delivery inspections and timely servicing and major repairs. Executing light fabrication/welding duties on various components. Upholding high service standards aligned with industry policies. Providing assistance to the Service Coordinator and ensuring a secure working environment. This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities: Possession of an agricultural or plant mechanical repair trade certificate. A minimum of five years of mechanical or similar work experience. Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure. Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
