Morrell Motors is a multi-franchise Dealership, authorised agents for Mercedes-Benz, Subaru, KGM, LDV, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, RAM, Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service / Parts Advisor to join our friendly, award-winning and growing team.To be successful in this position, your skills and attributes will include:A passion for the Automotive industryExcellent communicationExcellent customer serviceA positive attitudeA current clean NZ Driver's LicenceA reliable and honest work ethicA clean and tidy appearanceThe ability to work well to deadlines and under pressureThe ability to work well in a team environmentExperience in the Automotive industry in parts or service capacityThe successful applicant will in turn receive:Excellent remuneration packageOngoing training and the opportunity to expand your skills and progress your careerFront of house uniformPaid annual Birthday leaveBecome a key player on a friendly, ambitious teamThis position's job description includes:Assisting with opening and closing of the Service CentreWelcoming customers upon arrival to the Service CentreTaking service bookings and inputting data to DMS diaryFollowing the process for creating repair ordersCreating parts request forms and liaising with Parts Department on stock availabilityCreating accurate job estimates for customers with assistance from After Sales ManagerChecking in service customers and having them authorise repair ordersCommunicating any customer concerns with Service Department/Workshop Team LeaderAllocating repair orders to Technicians as guided by the Workshop Team LeaderProcurement and distribution of pre-pick parts packs for TechniciansCommunicating up-sell opportunities with customersCreating workshop/parts invoices for retail and trade customersCompleting thorough handover process at customer collectionProcessing of customer payments as per invoicesCourtesy follow up calls to customers 48 hours after serviceOther general duties as requested from ManagementMaintaining a clean and safe workplaceBeing courteous and polite to all customers and staff alikeThis position is for a minimum of 42.5 hours per week. 7:45am - 5:15pm, Monday - Friday.An immediate start can be arranged for the successful applicant with on-the-job training.
