This role, based in Christchurch, has ultimate responsibility for leading Adult Respite (Crisis & Planned) and Youth residential services and includes being an active member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Use your depth of experience in the mental health sector to guide and support Team Leaders and kaimahi in your services.Be an active participant on the Senior Leadership Team, collaboratively working on the strategic development and future direction of the organisation.Ensure that your services meet the KPIs of current contracts and keep within the budgets and resources of these contract lines.Build and maintain a culture that aligns with our organisational values.Be proficient in the use of person-centred, recovery focused and trauma informed frameworks.Support the development of professional relationships with outside agencies.Have the experience and ability to lead investigations and work through complaints with professionalism and integrity.Be a member of the clinical on call team* on a rostered basis.Ta matou mahi | We offer Permanent Full-time (40 hours per week); Monday-Friday 8.30am - 5pm*.Part of the Senior Leadership TeamSalary reflective of current pay equity ratesPaid Sick leave (after three months permanent employment).Paid Birthday leave (after six months permanent employment).Internal training and development opportunities.Mou | About you Successful candidates will be health, or allied health, professionals with a current registration who have experience working in the mental health, older persons or disability sectors and have management leadership experience.
The role requires:
A Registered Health Professional e.g. Registered Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist.At least five years' significant experience in a clinical role within mental health, health, older persons, disability or similar settings and at least three years' experience in a senior leadership role.Commitment to the bicultural journey that Stepping Stone Trust is on as we live out our partnership under Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.Familiarity with Nga Paerewa Health & Disability Service Standards and the Code of Health & Disability Services Consumer Rights.A personal passion and mission to serve vulnerable tangata within the community.Strong professional boundaries and skills in discretion and confidentiality.Excellent risk assessment and problem-solving abilities and the skills to balance service oversight with strategic objectives.A clear result with required Police Check and VCA vetting.A full, clean driver's license.Mo matou | About us Stepping Stone Trust offers a range of community-based support services for adults, youth and families who live in Canterbury and Dunedin.
