You'll oversee the smooth operation of our busy workshop of skilled technicians, providing service to a large local customer base across a range of agricultural and construction and forestry equipment.About the RoleThis opportunity will see you:Providing people-leadership across workshop staff.Maintaining service level agreements for response times to customer service needs.Managing job assignments and resource allocation to maximize daily job numbers.Reviewing work completed and regular follow ups with clients.Developing, reviewing and adapting service budgets to ensure the best outcomes.Monthly Reporting and monitoring (including Productivity and Efficiency reports).Monitoring and implementing best practice Health and Safety solutions.Have full oversight of Work in Progress and Invoicing ensuring it matches company standards every month.About YouIdeally you'll bring:A technical background with extensive knowledge of Agricultural and/or Construction and Forestry machinery and operations.Experience building trusted relationships both internally and externally, fostering an engaged and cohesive team environment.Demonstrated business acumen with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure a future-ready workshop.Technical competence with intermediate computer skills, ideally with experience in relevant workshop management software.Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds hesitate to apply for roles if they feel they don't meet 100% of the criteria.
