ABOUT THE POSITION
We have a terrific opportunity, due to internal promotion, for a Service Manager that has a passion for the Ag industry, technology in the agriculture field and who wants to be a key player in the Cochranes Service and Support department at our Ashburton Branch.
The Ashburton Service Manager is responsible for the management of the branch service department team members, including customer service interactions, reports, invoicing and repairs. The role delivers the highest level of customer service, selling the branch's repair capabilities and technical skills of the team through a service-minded attitude, while developing lasting customer relationships.

AS A SERVICE MANAGER YOU WILL:
Lead the branch service team
Be the key point of contact for all customers
Develop our business with existing and new customers / suppliers
Manage the service requests and make sure they meet customer requirements
Have a passion for Health & Safety with a desire for continuous improvement
Quote repair work and ensure invoice quality and frequency is maintained
Manage the profit and loss of the service department of Ashburton
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
This position would suit a self-motivated, energetic and personable professional. A mechanical background is desirable but not essential to be successful in this role, however people management skills and knowledge of the agriculture industry is highly desirable.
Have exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to deal with people across all levels of work and management.
Have excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate people in a workshop / field service environment
Have a good understanding of financials and service invoicing requirements
Take great satisfaction in overcoming challenges and developing your staff and ensuring great results for our customers
Health and Safety knowledge and focus
