In the interesting and varied role you will ensure the seamless operation of both in-house and outsourced technical support functions. This role manages the performance and workflow of Desktop Engineers, guaranteeing the effective resolution of technical issues.The Service Desk Lead works closely with members of the Technology and Improvement team, key business stakeholders, as well as maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure the needs of the business are fully addressed and continuous improvement is being achieved.You will be part of a collaboration team responsible for adding value to our business through good service delivery governance and practices. The Technology Operations team play an integral role in supporting business and enterprise initiatives in line with the technology strategy.He aha tau e kawe mai (What you will bring)Along with your tertiary qualification in computer science, technology or similar, and 3+ years in a senior IT service desk role you will have:People leadership experience - managing and supervising a team in the delivery of high-quality work outputs and team performance.Experience in addressing complex issues and demonstrated problem management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, used to dealing with senior internal stakeholders and external suppliers.You'll be valued for who you are, rewarded for what you do and supported to thrive.
