Service Delivery And Development Lead

The Champion Centre has a wonderful opportunity for an Allied Health Professional or Early Intervention Teacher to lead our multi-disciplinary service.
You will be responsible for leading practice and service delivery consistent with the model and mission of the Champion Centre.
You will provide positive leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, promoting an environment where empowered team members can function proactively and responsibly and feel supported to be their best.
You will influence the growth and direction of the Champion Centre by identifying service needs and initiating and managing partnerships with funders and other stakeholders.

Experience working in child development for a minimum of 5 years.
Experience in leading, motivating, and developing others.
Experience delivering high-quality clinical care or service with ongoing service improvement.
Experience in multidisciplinary working.
Experience writing high-quality reports.
Self-motivated with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
Previous involvement in research.
About Us: The Champion Centre provides multi-disciplinary early intervention and monitoring services to infants and young children up to the age of 6 with developmental disabilities and their families in Canterbury.
The programme is offered in a unique, centre-based model of service, in partnership with parents, and in accordance with international best practice.
We offer several services at the Centre including: Weekly early intervention programmes for children from birth to primary school age who have delays in at least two or more areas of development.
A monitoring programme for children who are at developmental risk either due to prematurity or some other health-related vulnerability.
Children who attend the centre have a wide range of developmental needs.
These include Down syndrome, other genetic disorders, cerebral palsy, extreme prematurity, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, and brain injury.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes Early Intervention Teachers, ESWs, Music Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Technology Assisted Learning Specialists, and Social Workers.
