We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, customer focused Service Deli Manager to join and lead our team here at Pukekohe New World.
The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience as a department manager or assistant manager with good leadership skills. SAP knowledge and experience managing staff would be preferable.
This opportunity is a full time position and will include weekend work.
Remuneration will be based on the level of skill and experience and what the successful applicant is able bring to this role.

While having a good understanding of department profitability, team rosters, wage budgeting, G.P's and cost out recipes.Ensure the in-store Service Deli provides an enhanced customer service experience and excellent product offeringMaintain high presentation standards and ensure adherence to Food Safety and Health and Safety principlesDevelop and manage your team including rosters, recruitment, training and performance management.Someone with their finger on the pulse, that can lead a busy department with lots on the go at the same time - you must be able to keep calm under pressure.SAP knowledge and understanding ordering, and department administrative aspects of SAP.The ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with peopleIntegrity & honesty, innovative thinking and commercial awareness.Positivity, initiative and self-motivationStrong leadership skills and a customer service orientationOrganizational skillsA strong focus on Health & Safety and Food SafetyCompletion of Unit Standards 167 and 168 is preferred but not essential.
