Friday, 18 October 2024 4:00 pm Monday, 11 November 2024 5:00 pm Working in a friendly and supportive team environment.A robust orientation and induction programme alongside specialist contract training.Supervision – regular internal supervision, external supervision as required.Company vehicle usage – use of pool cars for work purposes.All necessary resources provided – laptop, phone etc.A combination of working between the office and in the community.Training and development – opportunities to grow and expand your skills, knowledge and for career development.We value employee wellbeing – in addition to standard Annual Leave allocation, an extra Wellbeing Day leave each year.Employee Assistance Programme – free confidential counselling sessions.Job specific informationWe are seeking a person who is committed to making a difference in the lives of disabled children and adults, and their families/whanau in Tauranga.Key functions of this role include:Coordinating high quality services that are creative, flexible, and responsive to the needs of disabled children, adults and their families / whanau.Provision of services, advocacy and information sharing.Developing and maintaining positive working relationships and community connections and networks.Partnering with disabled people, their families and whanau to support them to have choice and control in their lives.Coordinating and managing Support Workers and carers to provide quality support and services in the community and in people's homes.Coordinate delivery of contracted services which meet the funders' specifications.Ensure that our work undertaken with disabled people, their family/whanau, and our related community partners, is of high quality and is rights based.We would love to hear from you if you:Understand, and are committed to progressing the rights of disabled people.Have experience working with individuals, families / whanau to access supports and services.Have an ability to form positive relationships and networks.Have great oral and written communication skills.Have an understanding and knowledge of the disability sector and can relate to disabled people in a positive affirming manner.Have strong time management and organisational skills.Have excellent skills in developing and maintaining trusting and accountable relationships with staff.Have previous experience and/or tertiary training.Demonstrate a willingness to be creative and innovative in delivering services.How to applyTo apply, please complete the CCS Disability Action application form and provide a copy of your CV and cover letter.
