Senior Underwriter

Make a difference as a Senior Underwriter
We're looking for an experienced Underwriter with expertise in Property, Motor and Liability products to join our Auckland-based team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Underwriting predominantly renewal business, including rural risksBuilding and managing relationships with allocated brokers and agentsVisiting clients when required, to retain existing businessManaging day-to-day queries from brokersWorking with the sales team to develop a strategic approach to key client relationshipsThis is a full-time permanent opportunity, with a hybrid working arrangement and the flexibility to be based at any of our Auckland offices (CBD, Albany or Sylvia Park). You will be visiting clients occasionally as a part of this role, so a Full Driver's Licence is required. You will be working Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Good knowledge of Property, Motor and Liability productsProven use of high levels of commercial underwriting authorityExcellent relationship management and negotiation skillsProven experience building relationships within the insurance broker marketWe're ready for you. Apply today.
