About the role
These roles are based NZ wide, working within our Surface and Underground projects. You will be joining crews with a good culture of looking out for each other, good banter and hard work.
Role Requirements
Experience in Diamond Drilling (minimum 2 years essential)
Level 3/4 Drilling Certification
Strong commitment to working safely
Clean Police Record
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem solving skills as you will be in remote locations or underground and must be able to think on your feet.
New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Resident.
Be willing to be part of team by being flexible.
Extensive manual labouring experience and be physically fit to cope with the demands of the position.
Key Duties
Conducting daily pre-start equipment checks
Completing necessary safety paperwork and processes
Safe drilling of metres to provide quality core samples and meet our client needs
Assisting with routine maintenance
Teach and mentor Driller Assistants
Setting up/dismantling/moving drill rigs and equipment
Good communicator with our client's team members
Other duties as required
