This is an expansive program of work spanning Australia and New Zealand and involving 20+ applications.In this role you will provide technical direction and implementation of end to end (E2E) testing that spans the Commercial Enablement ecosystem. You will work closely with environment, non-production support, and end to end quality specialists in our CE Ecosystem team as well as project managers, architects, and test engineers across IAG.Your work will keep an eye on the big picture with a focus on the end users of our products and services. You will also apply modern engineering practices and principles to simplify, automate, and uplift our quality.This is a full time, permanent role that is open to people based near any of our major centres in New Zealand and Australia.ABOUT YOUWe're looking for a Senior Engineer who is keen to hit the ground running as well as grow and develop in an ever changing and opportunity rich environment. You will be both hands-on and technical along with the following experiences:As a senior test engineer, confidence to problem solve challenges and to provide direction and approach at a tactical level.Experience in context-based and risk-based testing of complex business applications.Experience with both UI and API test automation frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright.Ability to work in a collaborative environment with good communication skills (for demos, etc.)Strong written communication is critical for both interacting with stakeholders and for building and maintaining project assets.A growth mindset.Exposure and interest in modern ways of working such as DevOps, observability, and SRE principles will help you collaborate with and align with the wider team.Experience in the insurance industry is a bonus.Experience using the Guidewire suite of products is a bonus.Start your career journey with us and click 'Apply'!
