Situated in one of the largest ICT teams in NZ, this role is responsible for leading key technology projects across the University. Managing information systems projects through their entire lifecycle, from design to implementation, the goal of this role is to improve information resources and enhance processes and capabilities. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets, while ensuring alignment with broader institutional goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage technology projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with University transformation goals.Develop comprehensive business cases within tight timelines to ensure project initiation.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the University.Manage resources, timelines, and budgets to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to a high quality.Collaborate with ICT Services and operational teams to ensure project coordination and integration with other initiatives.Assist system owners in considering university-wide impacts when implementing new systems or changes.Skills and Experience:Extensive experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects, ideally within large, complex organisations.Proven track record in delivering digital transformation and information systems projects, driving improvements in processes, resources, and capabilities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Expertise in project methodologies and a good understanding of change management.A strategic thinker who can see the big picture while managing the details to achieve business benefits.Why Join Us?Our team is an engaged, forward-thinking team with an excellent reputation across the University.
