Role and Responsibilities: Design building structures and interpret architectural drawings to develop accurate Structural plans and specifications. Demonstrate expertise in New Zealand building codes and seismic design, utilising analytical software for efficient design. Lead a team of drafters to ensure the delivery of precise and timely documentation. Maintain a strong client and team focus while delivering quality engineering solutions for a wide range of engineering projects. Requirements: 4-8 years local NZ experience in the Structural arena. A passion for Structural engineering and dedication to maintaining a high standard of work. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on outstanding customer service. The ability to manage a team of drafters and mentor their development. A background in commercial, industrial, and high-end residential projects. Proven experience in seismic design projects within NZ. A solid understanding of architectural drawings and the ability to translate them into Structural plans. Skills and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications - BE(Hons) or similar, with CPEng (or aiming towards). Proficiency in analytical software like Etabs and SpaceGass.
