You will contribute to the development of funding advice to the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) and the development of industry Workforce Development Plans (WDPs) to help industries and sectors communicate what is impacting workforce development and how the vocational education system can respond.This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working closely with a wide range of people and groups, thrives on asking questions and delivering valuable insights. The work we do is rewarding, the communities we work with and industries we support are busy, highly visible and ever-changing.This is a fixed-term role until 30 June 2025.Nga tino Pukenga/Wheako – Essential skills/qualifications/experiences for the roleThis role would suit someone who can:Identify and analyse issues, prepare and deliver advice to stakeholders.Develop and deliver improved solutions and strategic advice.Provide policy advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.Identify long-term trends and opportunities that will affect and impact industry policies.Contribute strategic advice within workforce development planning and TEC reporting.Monitor, evaluate and report on the work undertaken by strategy and insights team and provide analysis and interpretation of results and guidance on improved effectiveness.We are a workplace that values and utilises diverse and inclusive thinking, people and behaviours.
