Our vision is to ensure we have the best people supporting the best parliament in the world.Mo te tunga | About the role:Reporting directly to the CIO, this newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to guide our technology landscape. You will ensure the effective use of technology to meet the needs of the New Zealand Parliament. As a senior team member, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing integrated solutions, ensuring that all technological initiatives support the overall business strategy, driving growth and innovation. This role will see work closely with various teams, stakeholders and vendors to define requirements, design applications and infrastructure, and oversee the technical delivery of critical digital solutions. You will be involved in mapping out interdependencies across projects, advising on technology options, and ensuring the successful integration and testing of solutions.To kete | What you will bring to the role:Your CV will demonstrate the following:Experience:senior level experience in solution design, solution architecture or digital advisory role with a proven track record in providing technical leadership and facilitating strong relationships across business and technology teams.Technical Skills:solid understanding of digital technologies and platforms, domain expertise including cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.Soft Skills:strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.Why work for Parliamentary Service?We offer a range of benefits including 5 weeks annual leave, access to an on-site gym and pool, learning and development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.
