Let's continue our journey together.Senior Social Impact and Sustainability ManagerThis includes managing relationships and impact projects with our social impact and community partners - such as the Student Volunteer Army (SVA), the United Fire Brigades Association (UFBA), and Money Sweetspot. You will also manage our volunteering programme, coordinate logistics for our Customer Response Team (during major events), and play a lead role in measuring and reporting on our progress towards our sustainability goals and targets.We're looking for someone who has previous experience in social impact, community engagement, and/or sustainability in either the not-for-profit or corporate sector at a similar level.If this sounds like you, then apply with us now for this exciting 5-month fixed-term parental-leave cover opportunity.What you will be doing?Be a trusted partner to business leaders - enabling and supporting them to set and achieve sustainability goals and objectives.Leading AA Insurance's community engagement programmes - including planning, delivering & coordinating 'on the ground' support for major events.Champion our volunteering programme and community partnerships - ensuring we meet objectives and capitalise on opportunities to create impact.Manage the production of our sustainability reports and communication activities (internal and external).Work with different parts of the business to support operational, regulatory & legislative changes relating to ESG priorities and plans.Supporting our climate reporting team with education and engagement activities in pursuit of our GHG emissions reduction targets.Supporting the continued alignment of the social impact and sustainability strategies to the wider business goals & operationalisation of relevant legislation.Challenging the status quo to drive continuous process improvements across your portfolio of work.To shine in the role:4 years' experience in social impact, community engagement and/or sustainability experience in either the not-for-profit or corporate sector at a similar level.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to show leadership and solid decision making while managing a variety of workstreams and priorities.Exceptional stakeholder management skills (especially with SLT) with the ability to confidently build, nurture positive work relationships, collaborate effectively, build internal capability and influence accordingly.Demonstrated experience and confidence with running workshops and presenting, often to a large and varied audience.Proven experience with the development and delivery of strategy.Proven ability to prioritise and manage workloads.Great energy, tenacity, problem-solving skills, and a strong growth mindset.Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferred.Why you'll love working with us:We have an inclusive and supportive environment and believe every voice matters.
