We're looking for a Senior Safety & Risk Engineer to join our team. We solve complex problems by finding integrated data-centric solutions from the first stages of engineering and consulting to the last stages of installation and commissioning.Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.What you'll doDeliver exceptional safety & risk engineering and consultancy services across a variety of industry sectors and locations.Collaborate with other discipline engineers to design and build a diverse range of projects.Partner directly with our clients in the management of process safety and understanding and mitigation of hazards.Deliver a variety of formal safety assessments analyses to build safety into design and inform risk and support demonstration of SFAIRP.What you'll bringA recognised degree in a relevant field with proven years of experience.Demonstrable knowledge of the fundamentals of safety & risk engineering.Be conversant in applicable local/international standards, statutory and regulatory specifications, particularly major hazards and safety case regimes.Experience in the major hazard or energy industries as the operator, a consultant, or engineer, or a mix is desired.Operational experience.Comfort facilitating workshops including HAZID, Bowtie, and SFAIRP.Familiarity with a range of hazard identification, risk assessment, and process safety management tools.Safety and risk knowledge to deliver our clients best practice outcomes and ensure that risks have been demonstrably reduced to SFAIRP.Why you should applyWe offer a highly competitive employment package.Flexible working conditions.Paid parental leave program.Ability to purchase additional leave.Supported by both a local and globally connected team.Opportunity to work on a variety of diverse and exciting projects as we transition to a more sustainable world.Moving forward togetherAt Worley, we want our people to be energised and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
