About the role
This role is complex, fast-paced and varied and offers excellent opportunities for professional and personal growth. The Planning Business Unit at Hutt City Council is a fun and high-performing team. You'll work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can bring your very best to delivering world-class outcomes for Te Awakairangi. The planning team are continually managing the competing interests of the city, enabling and supporting the City's growth needs, all whilst protecting the landscapes and elements to make Te Awakairangi sustainable for generations to come.

We are really interested to hear from you if you possess the following background:

Previous experience working in a similar role
Relevant tertiary qualification in planning, resource management or related field required
Ability to interpret plans, regulations and by-laws
Displays initiative and analytical skills
Strong relationship building capabilities and interpersonal skills
