Your new role You will be stepping into a project that fits with your skills and experience with progression opportunities to stretch yourself under individual mentoring and guidance.
This role will see you take the lead with project financial planning/project set up, working with project and site managers to understand construction methodologies, tender management, managing subcontractors claims, managing and processing variations, final account work in terms of cost reporting and reconciliations.
Client engagement, site visits and HSE are all part of this role Skills & Experience The role requires an applicant with at least 5 years of commercial main contractor QS experience, and a relevant tertiary qualification along with sufficient main contracting QS experience.
This should include Design and Build experience with Hospital experience advantageous.
You must possess great sub-contractor relationship development and management skills.
You will enjoy driving profitability on jobs, and have a sharp eye for identifying any variations in savings.
Your contractual knowledge is sound and you can point to relevant legislation.
You are a team player and are able to add value as a team member through your individuality.
