We welcome applicants looking to take the next step in their career and develop within a dynamic and supportive team.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team ManagementManage and motivate the estimating team to drive business growth, maintaining a positive attitude to inspire success and team cohesion.Monitor and forecast team workload, delegate tasks, and adjust resources to meet deadlines and project goals while supporting individual development.Collect and analyze data for weekly management reports, tracking key metrics and providing insights on team progress and training needs.Facilitate weekly estimating meetings, keeping all relevant stakeholders updated on project progress.Coordinate pre-design meetings with the Managing Director, providing necessary project details and designs ahead of time.Assist in developing processes within the pricing team to support smooth business operations.Pricing and Project ManagementAnalyzing technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.Liaise with clients to understand project requirements, ensuring costs align with the client's budget and expectations.Design detailed, and accurate safety systems using Bluebeam software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Prepare and submit comprehensive quotes, ensuring accurate cost estimates and alignment with project margins and targets, while highlighting our capabilities and competitive advantages.Conducting preliminary contract reviews, and checking terms for accuracy and compliance.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Pricing Consultant, or experience in the construction industry or similar field.Bachelor of Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor – Construction Diploma or qualification in a related field is advantageous but not required.Competency in understanding architectural specifications and drawings.Highly computer literate with advanced proficiency using Bluebeam or similar software.Experienced using computer-based job management systems and client communication platforms.Sound knowledge of construction methodologies for commercial projects.Strong organization skills, attention to detail and excellent time management, with the ability to work well under pressure.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.Strong communication skills to engage clients with passion, build relationships, foster trust, and inspire confidence in business opportunities.To ApplyTo be considered for this exciting opportunity, please submit your cover letter and CV by selecting the 'Apply' button.
