Te Aho o Te Kahu takes a whole-of-system focus on preventing and managing cancer and oversees system-wide prioritisation and coordination of cancer care in New Zealand. It is accountable for ensuring transparency of progress towards the goals and outcomes in the National Cancer Action Plan. Te Aho o Te Kahu is equity-led, knowledge-driven, person/whanau-centred and outcomes focused.The System Performance and Innovation team (SPI) is tasked with measuring cancer system performance and working with partners to address inequities and/or variation in cancer service access, treatment and outcomes.Ko tou ake mahi – What you'll doYou'll play a pivotal role in providing top-tier advice, influencing decision-making processes across the team and the broader Agency. Your ability to engage effectively with external stakeholders is crucial, and prior experience in the health sector, particularly within cancer, is highly valued.
