What you will be doing Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our insurance products are top-notch, compliant, and customer-focused.
You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Head of Product and the Head of Propositions, to uphold the highest standards of product governance. Your expertise will help us continue to lead the industry with integrity and excellence.
Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities: Implement robust processes, controls, conduct and practices that provide protection to both the customer and Tower in line with best practice insurance standards.Contribute to product strategy by validating all new products, ensuring they meet the requirements of all stakeholders and comply with governance protocols.Guarantee all products adhere to insurance regulations, as well as internal standards.Identify, evaluate, and manage all risks related to all our insurance products.Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, including compliance, risk & legal, and other relevant teams during product validation process.Progress Boldly with direct continuous improvement of product governance processes, based on feedback from relevant stakeholders and market trends.What You'll Need The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in product governance and compliance within the insurance industry, possessing excellent organizational and communication skills. They are proactive, results-driven, and adept at navigating complex regulatory environments while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following:
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Law, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in product governance, compliance, or a related field within the insurance industry.Significant experience in General Insurance.Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills, with a passion for product excellence and a knack for governance.Experience within the Financial Services sector and particularly in the management of organisational units within a Financial Services organisation.Good understanding of the Insurance/Financial Services industry and product ranges.Our Commitment We pride ourselves on encouraging everyone to bring their whole selves to work, embracing diverse opinions, experiences, and backgrounds.
