Who are we looking for In this role, you will leverage your extensive procurement experience to support teams across the Council in achieving their goals while enhancing their knowledge and confidence in procurement best practice. We seek someone who is adaptable, resilient, and skilled at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You should be comfortable leading and executing end-to-end sourcing initiatives as project needs arise.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, lead, and deliver procurement activities for assigned initiatives.
Provide sound commercial analysis and advice to senior stakeholders.
Act as a trusted business partner, offering procurement guidance to senior leadership.
Conduct whole-of-life cost analyses and risk assessments for strategic procurement initiatives.
Facilitate contract negotiations and documentation as needed.
Key Requirements: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience in a dynamic and adaptable work environment.
Strong drive to influence and implement change.
Excellent understanding of the Government Rules of Sourcing.
