The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.Conduct thorough assessments of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify opportunities for enhancement.Provide technical expertise and guidance to support continuous improvement initiatives.Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness. Requirements: Proven experience in process engineering within the heavy manufacturing industry or sawmills.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in process optimization and automation.Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
