In this role, you'll be focused on technical modelling, so having previous experience in this is a must.You will be outcomes-focused, highly organized with strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a high level of proactivity, accountability, and professionalism. You will have excellent analytical skills and a proven track record of providing recommendations based on large datasets.What else will you be doing?Leading the analysis across projects where you are the main contact to help manage and coordinate workload for the team.Undertaking analysis to improve processes, supporting growth and profit.Recommending and undertaking analysis to explain significant variances in key metrics.Monitoring key Monthly Reporting information including management reports and using this information to proactively make sound recommendations that are consistent with our targets and strategy.Extracting, preparing, and manipulating data for modelling and analytics.Assisting others with knowledge transfer, troubleshooting, and data analysis principles.To shine in the role, we're looking for:Minimum of five years' experience in a large financial, insurance, or professional services business with two years' experience in modelling.Substantial Personal Lines Insurance Pricing experience.A relevant tertiary quantitative degree (mathematics, statistics, computer science, or actuarial science).Previous experience in statistical and data programming languages for analysis and problem solving e.g. R, Python, SAS, SQL.Proven experience in a wide variety of pricing-related projects.Experience and knowledge of various predictive modelling techniques.A strong work ethic with a positive attitude and outlook.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.A drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience in every interaction.Proven skills in adaptability and resiliency, with a solutions-focused mindset.Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.Why you'll love working with us:We have an inclusive and supportive environment and believe every voice matters.
