Our extensive services span health, disability support, mental health & addictions, primary care, justice, corrections, housing, education, social services, reo irirangi Maori, and Whanau Ora. With offices across Kawakawa, Whangarei, Kaikohe, Pakaraka, Moerewa, and Kaeo, we are a cornerstone of our community's health and wellbeing.
The Role: Senior Practitioner AOD We are seeking a motivated Senior Practitioner AOD to join our vibrant team in Kawakawa. As a crucial member of our Mental Health and Addiction Practices, you'll provide accessible, evidence-based interventions to support individuals and their whanau in improving their mental health and addictions wellness.
Your Mission Integrate and Inspire: Work seamlessly within our Mental Health and Addictions, bringing your expertise to support diverse needs.Engage and Empower: Deliver brief, impactful interventions that promote holistic wellbeing for individuals and their families.Cultural Sensitivity: Apply your understanding of cultural dynamics to provide compassionate and effective care.What You Bring Professional Registration: You are a registered psychologist, psychotherapist, mental health nurse, DAPAANZ registered practitioner or social worker.Therapeutic Expertise: Training in therapies such as ACT, FACT, or CBT.Team Spirit: Self-motivated and independent, yet thrive in a collaborative environment.Adaptability: Comfortable working in the dynamic setting of Mental Health and Addictions.Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to working with all cultures, particularly Maori.Tech Savvy: Proficient in computer skills.Problem Solver: Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Customer Focus: A professional attitude with great customer service skills and attention to detail.Essential: Clean, Full NZ Driver's License essential for local travel.Community Impact: Make a tangible difference in the wellbeing of our whanau.Growth Opportunities: Expand your skills and career within a supportive, kaupapa Maori organization.Supportive Environment: Be part of a team that values kinship, unity, and diverse leadership.Apply Now Join us in uplifting the health and wellbeing of Te Taitokerau.
