You will play a key role in planning for the future of Whanganui as part of a team that supports and enables the good management of the built form and character of our great little city.Your primary responsibilities will include preparing plan changes and variations to the District Plan and other associated environmental strategies, policies and plans, and presenting them to committees and hearings as required.You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, analytical skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of people. You will have good technical skills, a solid understanding of the Resource Management Act and be able to contribute to the organisation at the operational, strategic and political levels.
