We are looking for a talented and experienced 3 Waters Reticulation Delivery Officer to join our awesome team. This role will oversee the successful execution of capital projects within the 3 Waters infrastructure programme, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality assurance standards. You will provide technical leadership, mentor staff, and ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard, within budget, and on time.
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Your focus in this role will include:
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and provide technical guidance to our in-house delivery teams, ensuring successful delivery of key 3 Waters projects.
Project Planning & Problem Solving: Attend workload planning meetings, assess project designs, provide basic QS pricing advice and resolve issues to optimise productivity and minimise variations.
Site & Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of resources and engagement with external contractors, monitoring financial impact for informed decision-making.
About you | Ko Koe Tenei
You are an experienced leader in civil construction or infrastructure management, with a proven ability to oversee complex projects and manage teams. You have a strong understanding of the 3 Waters network and are driven to deliver high-quality results while ensuring safety and compliance. With at least 10 years of industry experience, you are capable of handling the technical challenges and leadership responsibilities that come with this role.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Diploma or higher qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related civil construction field.
Minimum 10 years of experience leading construction teams, with knowledge of NZS3910:2013 contract conditions.
Site Traffic Management Specialist (STMS) qualification with Category A/B certification.
