About the mahi (role) We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our Whangarei Team! We are open to applications from candidates who could be interested in relocating to the sunny Northland region.
The successful candidate will be working within our Whangarei clinic with a team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists. There are opportunities for the right person to take on more responsibility, and the role is perfect for someone wanting to take the next steps in their career.
This is a part-time role based in the clinic. The preferred days of work would be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; however, for the right candidate, other days may be considered. In this role, you will be reporting to the Whangarei clinic manager and providing support to the other physiotherapists within the team, offering mentoring and an open-door policy.
Key tasks include: Demonstrate and practice advanced levels of practice in assessing and treating patients efficiently and safely.Ensure all contract clinical reports and referrer letters are completed at an acceptable standard within contracted timeframes.Liaise effectively with consultants, family doctors, case managers, co-ordinators, and allied health professionals.Provide support, supervision, and training to new graduate physiotherapists and students when required.Benefits of joining TBI Health Our team is like a Whanau! A genuine interest in the area of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.A strong work ethic.A positive, motivated, and can-do attitude.A desire to achieve clinical excellence and demonstrate leadership skills.A current practicing certificate to work in New Zealand, Full Professional Body Membership, and Full Indemnity Insurance.Bachelor's Degree or above qualification.About the Whangarei team Join our close-knit, fun, and laidback team at Whangarei Clinic who are extremely passionate about healthcare! Our clinic has a brand new location and gym, and is within easy walking distance to cafes and Okara shopping centre.
Our clinic was established in March 2022 to provide the Whangarei community with a Multi-Disciplinary Team and excellent service in rehabilitation. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our rapidly growing team.
