About the role Due to an internal secondment, we currently have an exciting Fixed-Term opportunity , reporting into the Head of People Partnering to support our Care Home Managers and Regional Operations Managers around the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region, providing generalist HR advice. This is a Fixed-Term role until August 2025 and will be working from home with some travel required across the region from Waikato to Hawkes Bay. Where you'll make an impact Provide your expertise on complex ER matters - initially, this will form a significant part of your role. Partner and support our Regional Operations Managers and Care Home leaders to deliver people strategies, including aligning performance, capability, engagement, and talent initiatives. Provide tailored advice based on insights gleaned from HR metrics and your knowledge of contemporary HR interventions to support the overall business and people strategy. Coach and advise people leaders on industrial relations issues, organisational effectiveness, performance discussions, rostering, and managing attendance. Immerse yourself in a multitude of interesting projects, including cyclical people processes such as performance reviews, annual review process, facility engagement, leadership capability support and growth enhancement projects. Seasoned HR professional with at least five years' experience in a People Partnering role, ideally from a large and complex organisation where you have provided advice across all HR disciplines, including the management of complex ER matters, end to end. Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and demonstrate resilience. High levels of emotional intelligence coupled with outstanding interpersonal, coaching and communication skills which ensures your advice is well received and put into practice. Experience in supporting a variety of HR disciplines including leadership capability, operational HR delivery, talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and retention. Expertise in interpreting, understanding and applying collective employment terms, people processes and policies across the employee lifecycle. Experience in the application of wellbeing, health and safety legislation and workers compensation. Proven ability to track and report a range of people related data. A desire to provide HR coaching and experiential learning to junior members of the People Team A degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
