Senior Payroll Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join an experienced in house team within the Workforce Development and HR Department.In this hands-on role, you'll take the lead on a fortnightly payroll function while ensuring data integrity within our People and Culture systems.You'll also receive dedicated support as you transition into a leadership role, guiding a Payroll Administrator and helping shape the future of a timely and accurate payroll function.Key Responsibilities:Ensure a seamless end-to-end payroll process, including PAYE obligations.Process IRD reconciliations, payday filings, and manual corrections.Collaborate with other teams within People and Culture.Seek opportunities to enhance the payroll lifecycle with a focus on customer experience.Required Skills and Experience:3+ years of hands-on payroll experience.Strong knowledge of payroll legislation (e.g., Holidays Act, Wages Protection Act).Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Tech-savvy and proficient in Excel, with a drive for innovation and efficiency.All inquiries and applications to Fluid Recruitment are treated in the strictest confidence.
