MPL Lending Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Morrison Motor Group, a dynamic and growing boutique finance company, is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in a Lending, Finance, and Sales role. If you have a strong background in finance, a keen interest in sales, and a drive to make an impact, we want to hear from you! The primary focus of this role is to drive business growth by assessing and processing credit applications for vehicle finance and personal loans. You will play a key role in helping us expand our 100% New Zealand-owned and operated business.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Client Development : Build relationships with potential clients and identify opportunities for lending solutions that suit their needs. Loan Processing : Approving, processing, and management of loan applications, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients. Customer Support : Address client inquiries and provide exceptional service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Collaboration : Work closely with the internal team to meet client needs and support the growth of the business. Reporting : Produce weekly reports for senior management. Administration : Set up daily direct debits, reconcile bank payments, arrears management, and filing paperwork. What We're Looking For: Experience : Previous experience working for a NZ finance company or bank. Lending Expertise & Knowledge : Has a full understanding of lending principles. Decisiveness & Confidence in Action : Can make decisions with confidence. Ownership & Accountability : Takes initiative and ownership of tasks. Sales & Relationship Skills : Ability to connect with clients, identify their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-focused attitude. Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail, especially in processing financial transactions and documentation. Flexible & Reliable : Ability to work 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility in day and hours to suit your schedule.
