We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join the team at Macquarie Park on a full-time basis.
You will be joining a supportive team who love working #bettertogether.
This role will offer a hybrid working environment with up to 2 days working from home.
You will be responsible for processing Australian Monthly Salaried payroll.
Your proven ability to provide excellent and proactive customer service is what we are looking for.
Essential Skills and Experience In-depth knowledge of payroll activities Clear understanding of Taxation, Superannuation, terminations, and other legislative requirements Ability to interpret multiple complex EBAs, Awards, individual agreements, and policies A meticulous eye for detail and accuracy Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with an innovative and creative approach Excellent communication skills – both written and oral Ability to analyze and resolve payroll queries accurately and in a timely manner Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines Self-motivated and willing to take ownership to ensure the best customer experience Perform compliance tasks such as Payroll Tax, Superannuation, PAYG, and Redundancy payments Desirable Skills and Experience Kronos or other T&A system knowledge is desirable Proven experience managing multiple complex payrolls Proficient in Microsoft Excel Previously worked on payroll improvement projects What can we offer you?
