We are on the hunt for Payroll Professionals who are looking for something different!This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be exposed to various clients and industries whilst being a permanent member of the Integrity1 team and at the same time having wrap around access to over 50 other payroll experts for support. The role is on-site at our Head Office based in Manukau, Auckland.The successful Candidate will be working with Colleagues who have worked in every realm of payroll. You will be part of a collaborative, excellent team of payroll professionals, all of whom are top of their respective fields of expertise.Reporting directly to our MPS Manager, the purpose of the role is to:Provide payroll services and support across a broad range of systems/industries/clients.Enhance or suggest robustness of processes that enable automation where possible.Ensure processes and controls are in place in respect to accuracy and confidentiality.Areas of responsibility may include all, or some of the following (depending on client):End to end preparation and processing of Client payrollsManage information flow between systems – HRIS | Payroll | Finance | Production.Manage payroll process controls.Liaison with designated client contacts on all payroll queries, issue resolution and trainingData Integrity Checking/ReportingPayroll Reconciliations; PayDay Filing; Disbursements – Direct Credits | DeductionsIdentifying/notify Payroll Team Leader of any issues impacting ability to process payroll in a timely manner (from client side)Set up and/or follow payroll controls process to ensure adequate information is available and appropriate authorisations are in place.Management of external schemes as required – superannuation, medical, shares, benefits, expenses.Work collaboratively with team members in MPS and Integrity1Collaborate with Integrity1 specialists where any knowledge gaps exist.Any other specific areas as directed by the client in an agreed statement of work.On the job trainingAdditional DutiesWorking with Integrity1's Remediation Team; Audit Team; Implementation Team; Project Team; Payroll Projects Team when neededTraining and supporting other members of the team.Knowledge Required:Minimum 5 years' experience across different:IndustriesPayroll ApplicationsKnowledge of various Complex Employment/Collective Agreements (SECAs | MU/MECAs | CEAs | IEAs | Flexible working arrangements | Shift Work etc) at developing and implementing business strategiesNZ Employment Law framework and how it relates to payroll.Ability to understand and articulate legislation in respect to how it impacts payroll and business practice.Ability to understand data relationships and dependencies.Good working knowledge of all MS Office ApplicationsWorking knowledge of payroll requirements/outputsUnderstanding of current Holidays Act Issues/Audits/Remediation and how it impacts clients.A 'can-do' attitude, which epitomises our Company Culture.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.Customer experience is a major part of what we do so bring your prior experience in this area.Have a look at our website and if you think that you are a good fit and have what we are looking for then apply today!Kindly note that applicants will require rights to work in New Zealand.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?How many years of payroll experience do you have?Do you have reconciliations experience?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
