We are looking for a Senior People + Capability Advisor to support our business in a 9-month fixed-term position (maternity cover). In this exciting role, you will explore many areas of HR and develop your technical skillset in specialist areas. You will be involved in coaching and guiding managers, lifting capability development, remuneration + performance, managing performance improvement, continuous improvement, projects, and supporting the overall people and capability service delivery. The role covers two portfolios: providing P+C services to internal stakeholders and working within a specialist area (this is driven by your previous experience and/or interest) where you become the go-to person for stakeholders in the P+C team and the wider business. The role is part of the People + Capability team, and you will be joining a team of experienced HR professionals who have a strong focus on excellence, collaboration, and development. You will work closely with a team of Advisors + Business Partners but will largely be able to own your portfolios, determining the best course of action with your managers and ensuring people are at the heart of decisions made. You'll be a confident, resilient professional with the ability to influence outcomes. Our ideal person will have a strong track record of service delivery and the ability to forge strong relationships and build credibility. This position would suit someone with P+C experience who wants to consolidate their generalist HR experience and lead the P+C service within their assigned portfolios, or you might be after a change and want to try a new industry. You will also have: Experience as a Senior People and Capability Advisor working across all aspects of HR at an operational level (you'll get to work at a strategic level in this role), or perhaps you are an experienced practitioner in another area of P+C and you want to build your generalist skills Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or Business-related area, or working towards a qualification Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
