Senior Advisor Operational PolicyThe Senior Advisor Operational Policy position in the Resource Markets branch works with a range of subject matter experts to assess the feasibility of policy and technical changes being made to the regulatory system and ensure the successful implementation of these changes.
The role is responsible for supporting development of legislation and regulations by providing advice on how to implement Policy settings. You will be experienced at interpreting legislation and translating new policy and substantial policy change into implementation plans and material such as clear operational policy, processes, and guidance.
Your work will contribute to the responsible development and regulation of New Zealand's offshore renewable energy regime as well as the oil, gas, and mineral resource sectors.
