Te whiwhinga mahi The Opportunity This Senior Operational Data Warehouse Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of the maintenance and support of Data Warehouse services for the cloud data pipelines, technologies, platforms, and tools.
In this role, you'll enable efficient access to the National Collections Snowflake data warehouse solution for our valued customers and provide expert support, training, and guidance on BIDW solutions.
Your efforts will contribute to aligning strategies, policies, and solutions with best practices.
By actively seeking out and implementing practical and innovative solutions, you'll play a vital role in enabling and supporting improvements to our existing systems and processes.
Furthermore, you will share accountability for leading, supporting and advising health and disability sector transformation through the use of data, digital services and technology.
Mou About you As someone who has worked extensively with Data Warehouse solutions, you are familiar with supporting new technology projects and being engaged in the initial set up of new cloud tools.
Your communication skills are complemented by your professionalism in interacting with a wide range of clients and staff.

Nga pukenga me nga wheako Skills and experience Tertiary level professional qualification and / or significant relevant work experience.
A minimum of 5 years' experience working with Data Warehouse solutions is expected.
Experience with Cloud data warehouse technologies, using Snowflake or similar Cloud based data warehouse ingestion, transformation and warehousing tools such as DBT, Meltano and Airflow.
Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific technical and business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience identifying and implementing process improvement.
Experience in identifying and defining pragmatic solutions that are easily implemented and adhere to common practice Data Warehouse architecture.
