With a world-class range of safety products, including barriers, handrails, bollards, and pallet protection systems, Tru- Gard offers proven, cost-effective solutions that safeguard high-traffic areas and prevent damage in workplaces.The JobOur client is seeking a seasoned sales professional with a natural ability to combine both business development and leadership skills who has a proven track record in driving revenue and market share growth in the New Zealand market. This role involves both nurturing existing relationships whilst strategically identifying new business opportunities, engaging and connecting with prospective clients whilst supporting the sales & customer care team to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.What's InvolvedPlanning and Market Research: To succeed you must be able to develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives. You will conduct research to identify market trends and connect with potential clients to build your pipeline.Client Relationship Management: You will build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders by ensuring regular communication to address client needs and enhance customer satisfaction using Salesforce to track your progress.New Business Development: You will drive growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, engaging prospective clients through site visits, cold calls, and networking. Managing a well-structured sales pipeline, delivering compelling proposals and timely follow-up will ensure you are successful in this role.Team Leadership: As a natural leader you will mentor a small team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to drive performance. Conducting regular one-on-one's, you will guide the team to overcome challenges and of course celebrate success and individual achievements along the way.Networking You will represent Tru-Gard at industry events to maintain a strong market presence across New Zealand.RequirementsAbout YouYou will be a natural connector, relationship builder and instill trust in everything that you do from the start to end of a sales cycle and beyond. You are committed to delivering outstanding solutions to your clients, the job is only complete when the customer has the solution you promised.Your drive to build meaningful relationships with customers and your ability to identify needs, solve problems and deliver real outcomes flows through in your approach to work.You may already be working within the industry or be working in a similar sector but experience in managing long sales cycles and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into simple solutions for customers is a must.With a keen eye for growth opportunities, you follow established processes to deliver results while leading your team to success.
