You will support transportation infrastructure planning, provide technical advice into growth planning, maintain the improvement programme and identify projects of work. In this role you will also manage and deliver feasibility option and design phases for respective infrastructure programmes relating to Transportation.Your Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in the role, a relevant qualification and suitable experience in a similar Transport Network Engineering role are required, as is a strong understanding of transport engineering practice and processes relating to a Council environment. You will demonstrate knowledge in planning and current industry practices, strategic transport or infrastructure business case processes, urban planning policies and relevant legislation, and be able to work well within the Council environment. Additionally, you will have strong technical, analytical and reporting skills, excellent people and communication skills and be a highly motivated, achievement orientated professional.
