Have you wondered what it takes to develop and execute an AI project where paying customers use the AI capability you help build?We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who has experience in data engineering or backend engineering and has built data pipelines or machine learning pipelines.You will be responsible for the following:Maintaining, enhancing and developing the streaming data platform.Designing and engineering data and machine learning pipelines.Analyzing, transforming and interpreting data - building machine learning models.Collaborating and working across teams, taking ideas from product managers, breaking them down into data science and engineering tasks, and conducting research and development of machine learning pipelines.This is an engineering-focused role, applying data engineering skills to AI and Machine Learning.You have 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with Java/Scala (or similar) and SQL. Experience with Python is a bonus.Experience with big data and streaming systems on AWS and/or Google Cloud.Knowledge of Google BigQuery, Apache Beam, Apache Airflow, DBT or similar.Experience with building data pipelines and/or machine learning pipelines at scale.Knowledge of data science research and development processes, working with data scientists is a big plus.Familiarity with vector embeddings, outlier detection techniques, text analysis, and MLOps.What You'll Learn:This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to get hands-on experience in researching and developing machine learning/AI in a commercial environment.You will be a leader in this growing team.
